Terms & Conditions

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Placing Orders
Happihygge.com is open 24/7 for online orders. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend the website for maintenance, updates, or due to third-party service issues (e.g., payment gateways). Before submitting your order, please carefully review all details—including items, colours, models, sizes, delivery address, and billing information. Orders cannot be amended after confirmation (including changes to items, colours, models, sizes or addresses).

You are responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate. We are not liable for failed or incorrect deliveries due to inaccurate address details and are not obligated to resend packages or issue refunds in such cases. If an incorrectly addressed parcel is returned to us, we will issue a store credit (minus any return shipping costs).

You will receive an order acknowledgement email shortly after purchase. This is not a binding acceptance of your order. A contract between you and HappiHygge is formed only when we send a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order—for example, if:

  • Payment authorisation is unsuccessful

  • An item is out of stock

  • We suspect fraudulent activity, unauthorised resale, or violation of our policies

  • The product fails our quality checks

 

2. Payment

We accept Paypal , Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and other payment methods listed at checkout. Your account will be authorised for the order amount at checkout; Goods shall remain the property of HappiHygge until payment in full by the buyer before your order is dispatched. No additional card fees are charged by the website. We implement industry-standard security measures and use encrypted payment gateways. However, we cannot be held liable for losses arising from unauthorised third-party access to data transmitted online.

3. Prices
All prices on our website are applicable retail prices for our products in GBP (£) . The price of a product displayed at the time your order is accepted will be honored by HappiHygge. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors (typographical, system, or otherwise) that may occur. For international customers (if applicable in future), any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged upon delivery are the recipient’s responsibility. HappiHygge has no control over these charges and cannot advise on amounts due.

Defects or shortages must be reported within 5 days of delivery via our designated contact method.


4. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery dates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Such dates are approximate only and not of any contractual effect and HappiHygge shall not incur any liability by reasons of failure to deliver on any particular date or dates.

HappiHygge reserves the right to deliver your order in separate instalments based on stock availability. If your order is split for any reason, we will inform you by email before dispatch and issue a separate invoice per shipment. This will not affect the total price you pay, and each instalment will be delivered under these Terms & Conditions.

Any delivery discrepancy must be notified to the seller in writing within 5 days of the delivery.

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary by UK zone (see our Delivery Information page). During sales periods, public holidays or other events sale periods, processing and delivery times may extend. Available shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout and cannot be altered after order confirmation.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking email. If you select a ‘Click & Collect’ or pickup point option, you are responsible for collecting the parcel before its return deadline. Return shipping fees for uncollected parcels will be deducted from any refund.

5. Order Cancellation & Changes
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or modified as our system processes it immediately for fulfilment.

If you no longer want an order, you may return items in accordance with our Returns Policy after delivery. Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not constitute cancellation and may result in return fees.

6. Order,Returns & Refunds
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order you may return/withdraw from any or all of the items in their original packaging for a refund within 14 days of delivery subject to the following terms.


You must inform us by Contact Form or email to order@happihygge.com  of your intention to return the goods to us in writing within 5 days of receiving the goods.


To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us by email and wait for our response before returning the goods. We may correspond with you to discuss the condition of the goods you wish to return and we will then confirm the address to return them.


You must return the goods to us by a registered/recorded delivery service (which requires a signature by the recipient).
If collection of the goods is made by HappiHygge the cost of the return delivery will need to be covered by the customer(s) unless a prior agreement has been made.


We cannot credit or refund returns that we receive in a non-saleable condition, or that have been lost in transit. You must retain your original registered/recorded mail receipt in case we require proof of the return in the unlikely event that your return package does not reach us.


All returned products must be in their original product packaging. If you have opened the product packaging, or you have damaged the packaging or labeled the products so that it cannot be reused, we reserve the right to provide you with a partial refund only. Items that come in a display can only be returned as a full display.


Subject to your compliance with the returns section above, if you are returning your goods because they were damaged in transit, or because the wrong products were delivered, or because the products delivered were materially different from what was described on the website when you purchased the products, then you shall be entitled to a refund of the full product price(s) of the returned product(s) and the cost of return delivery will be covered by HappiHygge.  Please note: If not returning products that are not as described or are damaged on arrival, images will be required for a refund to be made.

7. Faulty Items & Warranty

HappiHygge shall not be liable to the customer(s) for shortages in quantity delivered unless the customer(s)notifies HappiHygge of any claim for short delivery within 5 days of receipt of the goods.

HappiHygge shall not be liable to the customer(s) for damage to or loss of the goods or any part thereof in transit (where the goods are carried by the couriers) unless the customer(s) notifies the Happihygge of any such claim within 5 days of receipt of the goods or 14 days of the date of dispatch shown in the courier's advice notice whichever shall be earlier.


HappiHygge shall not be liable to the customer(s) for defects in the goods caused by any act, neglect or default of the customer(s) or of any third party.

8. Product Information & Liability
We take care to present products accurately, but colours, textures, and sizes may vary slightly from images due to screen settings, photography, or batch variations. Minor variations do not constitute a fault.

HappiHygge’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Incorrect use of products

  • Delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure)

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We do not sell, trade or rent any personal information to others. HappiHygge is committed to protecting the customer(s) privacy and complies with the data protection laws applicable to the UK. Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We only collect data necessary to fulfil your order and improve your experience. 10. Intellectual Property
All design, packaging, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software compilations, underlying website source code, software, and all other material on happihygge.com, trading as HappiHygge are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

11. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

12. Jurisdiction

All transactions are undertaken and conducted under the jurisdiction of English Law and any disputes in connection therewith shall be tried in the Courts of England and Wales.

13. Force Majeure
HappiHygge cannot be held liable for any delays or failures to fulfill our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, war, terrorism, cyber attacks, pandemics, epidemics, labor disputes, strikes, governmental actions, political changes, import or export restrictions, or disruptions in transportation or supply chains.

In such cases, our obligations will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and we will do our best to resume operations as soon as it is reasonably possible.

14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
